This emergent project uses quilting, ethnography, and writing to dig into family history, migration, and the circulation of commodities. Working back and forth between making and writing, modes and methods nourish each other in surprising ways.

Elizabeth Chin is an anthropologist with a varied practice that includes performative scholarship, experimental ethnography, sewing, and vernacular electronics.  She is currently editor-in-chief of American Anthropologist.
